During an exam at my school my sister and I were trying to stall for some time so I raised my hand and asked my teacher a meaning of a word we heard on the show FRIENDS. The question was something like,
"excuse me, Ms. Lisa, what are burning loins?"
Ms. Lisa: "Emm,that's like when someone wants someone and (she's pointing down) and they feel...."
Me: "O, I thought it was coals, cause Joey mentioned something about a chimney."
My sister: "I thought it was a scarf."
Ms. Lisa: "Emm, no."
Me: "Oops, sorry, English is my second language." (even though I've been speaking it for 23 years)
I gotta say, that was a fun day!
